How much does a wedding photographer cost in Chattanooga?
WEDDINGS & ELOPEMENTS FAQ
Wedding photography at Hacker Medias starts at $700 for elopements and intimate ceremonies and goes up to $4,600 for The All-Inclusive Experience. Every collection is thoughtfully built around your day — not a one-size-fits-all package. Payment plans are available for all wedding collections. Reach out and we'll find something that works for your budget and your vision.
How far in advance should I book my wedding photographer in Chattanooga?
We recommend booking as early as possible — ideally 9 to 12 months in advance for peak season weddings (April through October). Fall weekends in Chattanooga book extremely fast. That said, if your date is coming up sooner, reach out anyway — we occasionally have last-minute availability and always do our best to make it work.
Do you travel outside of Chattanooga for weddings?
Absolutely. I regularly cover weddings throughout Tennessee, North Georgia, and beyond. Destination weddings and elopements are welcome — travel fees apply based on distance and are quoted at the time of inquiry. Some of the most beautiful sessions have happened on Lookout Mountain, in the North Georgia mountains, and along the Tennessee River.
How many photos will we receive from our wedding?
The number of images varies based on the length and scope of your coverage. Most full wedding day collections result in 500 to 900 professionally edited images. Elopement collections typically deliver 150 to 300 images depending on coverage. Every image is carefully culled and edited before delivery — quality over quantity, always.
Do you offer engagement sessions?
Yes — and we love them. Engagement sessions are included complimentary with The Celebration and All-Inclusive collections. They can also be booked as a standalone session starting at $350. Beyond giving you beautiful portraits to use for save the dates and wedding websites, engagement sessions are genuinely valuable because they let you get comfortable in front of the camera before your wedding day. Couples who do engagement sessions always feel more relaxed and natural on the big day.
What is the difference between an elopement and a micro-wedding?
An elopement is typically just the two of you — or a very small group of your closest people — in an intimate setting with no formal reception. A micro-wedding is a scaled-down version of a traditional wedding, usually 20 guests or fewer, with some of the traditional elements like vows, a ceremony, and a small celebration. Both are beautifully covered under The Elopement collection at Hacker Medias — because whether it's just you two or your ten favorite people, your day deserves to be documented.

How long does it take to receive our wedding photos?
Wedding galleries are delivered within 4 to 6 weeks of your wedding date. You'll receive a sneak peek of a few favorites within 48 to 72 hours after your wedding day — because we know waiting is hard. Your full gallery is delivered via a private online link you can download, share, and print from anywhere.
What is included in a Hacker Medias wedding collection?
Every wedding collection includes full coverage of your day, professionally edited images delivered via a private online gallery, and my signature guided approach so you're never standing around wondering what to do. The Celebration collection also includes a complimentary engagement session. The All-Inclusive Experience adds an anniversary session and a heirloom wedding album. Full details for each collection are available when you inquire.
Can we give you a shot list for our wedding day?
Absolutely — and we encourage it for family formal portraits specifically. I will send you a family formals guide after booking to help you organize your must-have group shots so nothing gets missed and the formal portrait portion of your day runs efficiently. Beyond formals, trust that we are watching for every candid, emotional, and spontaneous moment throughout your day. The best wedding photos are almost never the planned ones.
What happens if it rains on our wedding day?
Rain on your wedding day is more common than most couples expect — and honestly some of the most stunning wedding photos happen in the rain. We come prepared for all weather conditions and will work with your venue and your timeline to make the most of whatever the day brings. We never cancel due to weather. We adapt, we find the light, and we make it beautiful regardless.
Do you work with a second shooter?
A second shooter can be added to any wedding collection and is recommended for larger weddings, venues with multiple getting-ready locations, or any couple who wants maximum coverage throughout the day. Second shooter pricing is quoted based on your specific needs — just mention it when you inquire and we'll build it into your custom quote.
What is your cancellation and rescheduling policy for weddings?
A non-refundable retainer is required to secure your wedding date. In the event of a reschedule, we will do everything possible to accommodate your new date based on availability. Full details are outlined in your wedding contract, which is provided at booking. If you have specific questions about the policy before booking, just ask — we're always happy to walk you through it.
Do you provide wedding albums?
Yes — heirloom wedding albums are available as an add-on to any collection and are included in The All-Inclusive Experience. Albums are professionally printed, beautifully designed, and built to last a lifetime. Details and pricing are available upon inquiry.
Are you familiar with wedding venues in Chattanooga?
Yes! I have photographed weddings at venues throughout Chattanooga and the surrounding region including outdoor spaces on Lookout Mountain, venues along the Tennessee River, historic downtown locations, and intimate private properties. If your venue is somewhere new to us, we do a venue walkthrough in advance to scout the best light and locations before your wedding day.
