How much does a portrait session cost in Chattanooga?

Every session comes with guided posing, same-day image selection, and beautifully edited portraits delivered within a week. Payment plans are available for all sessions — just ask when you inquire.

When is the best time to book a maternity session in Chattanooga?

The sweet spot for maternity sessions is between 28 and 34 weeks. Your bump is beautifully round, you're still comfortable and mobile, and there's enough time before your due date to account for editing and delivery. We recommend booking as early as your second trimester to secure your preferred date — maternity sessions fill up quickly, especially in spring and fall.

How far in advance should I book a graduation session?

We recommend booking 6 to 8 weeks before your graduation date — especially for spring graduates, since April and May fill up fast. If your graduation is coming up quickly, reach out anyway. We'll do our best to fit you in, and rush turnaround options are available if needed.

What is included in a cake smash session?

The Smash and Big Smash packages both include a smash cake provided by Hacker Medias, a personalized block number for your birthday setup, same-day image selection, and fully edited portraits delivered within a week. All you need to bring is your birthday baby and their best messy-cake energy.

How long does a portrait session take?

Most portrait sessions run between 30 and 90 minutes depending on the collection you choose. The Moment is our most efficient session at around 30 minutes, while The Legacy Session allows up to 90 minutes for larger families or milestone moments that need more room to breathe. No matter the length, you'll never feel rushed.

Do I need to know how to pose?

Absolutely not — and that's exactly why clients love shooting with us Every session is fully guided from start to finish. You'll be directed through every pose, expression, and transition so you never have to wonder what to do with your hands. Just show up and enjoy it.

What should I wear to my portrait session in Chattanooga?

We recommend coordinating — not matching — for family sessions. Think complementary colors and similar levels of formality rather than identical outfits. Solid colors and simple patterns photograph best. Avoid busy logos or graphics. Not sure? Every booking includes a style consultation so you show up feeling confident and camera-ready.

In-studio portrait sessions include same-day image selection — meaning you can choose your favorites before you leave. Fully edited portraits are delivered within one week via an online gallery you can download, share, and print from anywhere. Need them faster? Rush 48-hour turnaround is available — just ask when you book.

Do you offer payment plans for portrait sessions?

Yes — because great portraits shouldn't have to wait. Payment plans are available for all Hacker Medias sessions. Ask about options when you inquire and we'll find something that works for you.

Where are portrait sessions located in Chattanooga?

Sessions can be held at our studio or on-location at a spot that's meaningful to you.
